- All loans and renewals are for 2 weeks.
- Some libraries may have local conditions on specific types of items.
RenewalsYou can renew any loan twice, providing the item is not overdue and no one has reserved it.
Instructional ToursTAFE Libraries offer three main types of instructional session: Introductory tours, Internet tours and Research tours. Ask your teacher to book a tour on behalf of your class.
HoldsItems which are on loan from the library can be reserved, and will be held for you to borrow when they are returned to the library. The library will notify you when the items are available for you to collect.
Inter Library LoansIf you need an item which is held in another TAFE library, contact your own College Library to arrange an Inter Library Loan.
Closed ReserveLibrary resources that are in heavy demand may be held in Closed Reserve. These resources will normally have a shorter loan limit than other library resources and may only be available for use in the library. There will be a note in the library catalogue if an item is held in Closed Reserve. Ask at the Library's Loans Desk to access items held in this section of the library.
